The Legacy of Aloha Scholarship is open to…
  • Employees and immediate family (i.e. children and spouses) of employees at a T S Restaurant who are in good standing.
  • Children of Executive Team are ineligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited 2-year college, 4-year university, trade/vocational school, or graduate school for the 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Previous applicants are encouraged to reapply.
Factors that may be considered include academic achievement, involvement in extra-curricular activities, letter of recommendation, and response to essay question.

Scholarships are given by the Legacy of Aloha Foundation. Winners are selected by an independent committee. Scholarship is intended for tuition, books, fees, room & board, and other educational expenses.

Deadline
The application will be available online starting Saturday, April 1st.

Applications must be received by Sunday, April 30th at 11:59pm Hawaii Time (UTC/GMT -10 hours).

Scholarships will be announced and awarded by June 1, 2024.

A complete application will include:
  • Completed Application Form and Essay.
  • Current or Most Recent Transcript. (Transcript can be unofficial such as a copy or printout of an online version.)
  • 1 Letter of Recommendation. T S managers are ineligible to write a letter of recommendation. Possible sources for letter of recommendation are below. Choose the person that you think will give you the best, personal recommendation:
    • Teacher, coach, or counselor from your current pr past school
    • A professional or academic mentor
    • A friend or coworker (non-relative)
Guidelines
  • You will not be able to save the application and come back to it at a later time. Please plan accordingly.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Only submit requested information. Additional documents (e.g. resumes, photographs) will not be considered.
